Today went much better. This is first experience with carpooling and aside from hiding in a bush when his ride came to pick him up it wet off without a hitch
He saw Josh at "recess" and won the contest for the best lego tower (did I mention the contest was his idea).
He was a bit anxious about getting picked up and sat out front watching for me
But overall he had a great first day of school
